    I was using a USB cable from a RAVpower 60W multiport charger, which I think should be able to source 2.4A of 5V from each of its ports. Is a single SG90 servo going to want more than 2.4A? Running current seems to be around 400-500 mA, though starting current may be over 1A (so say the specs, I guess...).

    You mentioned that the PCA9685 power LED dims (along with all the other connected LEDs) when the servos move..
    This indicates to me that the servo power draw is enough to bring down the voltage of the power source..
    Could be the source isn`t able to deliver what the specs say or you have a power cabling issue....
