    Default WTB: Pixel/controller/mega tree

Hey all! Iím ready to dive into pixels after my daughterís marshmello helmet experiment. My initial plan is just to do a mega tree and then expand to a house outline. Although I know most people donít think about selling their stuff until October/November, Iím hoping I can get a head start! Let me know whatcha got before I head over to holiday Coro.

    Default WTB: Pixel/controller/mega tree

Edit: disregard this reply because my response was getting parts new and didnít realize that OP asked of someone letting go a controller and pixels. My misunderstanding, and wrong type response.

KulpLights controllers are in stock right now to start a controller box build. (Linked below)

I believe the CG-1500 boxes are in stock at DIYLEDEXPRESS, but available at wiredwatts also.

You can get your pigtails of choice of either xConnect or Ray Wu, and presale order of 3000 pixels or 10k pixel at Wallyís Lights.

    https://www.wallyslights.com/product...esistor-pixels

MattosDesigns are also pre-sale 10K pixels too
    Resistor: https://mattosdesigns.com/collection...000-12v-pixels
    Regulated: https://mattosdesigns.com/collection...-bullet-pixels

but best if you can get coupons from the Christmas Summit sale(might be over).

PixelProDisplays has coupons (10% or 5% off order) available for MattosDesigns, WiredWatts and HolidayLighting.shop

While you are at MattosDesigns, you can look for the MegaTree parts to build your Mattos based tree build or plan for which way you want to go.
He has your megatree toppers too

Another guy who makes excellent toppers is Overkill Metalworks 32 string 180 toppers. (I was able to have him make one from stainless steel(3 week wait from first email to delivery at my door)).
(heís just one guy, but in an email dilemma that heís currently fixing)

Make sure he responds to you.

Wiredwatts website will have your controller kit, controllers from KulpLights, pigtails, network glands and mount plates to help you get your controller build done faster. You can choose between CG boxes or Bud industries boxes too.

If you prefer prebuilt ready to run controllers then CCLcontrollers can get started. MattosDesigns also sells the CCL controllers prebuilt boxes also.

You will have excellent after sales service from all the vendors above, but before you need their help, you should be able to browse around the old threads here on how to get all the pieces together for the MegaTree.

If you still prefer a small budget build, consider the Kulplights controller first, start with K16 https://kulplights.com/product/k16a-b/
    or K8-B

    https://kulplights.com/product/k8-b/

Did you choose between having 16, 24 or 32 strings yet and a

    star topper?

HD Mounting strips from BoscoyoStudio can help you.

    https://boscoyostudio.com/product-ca...-strips-rolls/

You can source the rest of tree pole support from your local hardware or big box hardware store.

The tree toppers from Holiday Coro tend to break if used in a high wind area, so if you are, get a metal topper, 1/4inch thick will save you headaches.

If you like clean controller box builds, and still diy,
Jdeation.com will help you how you want everything laid out.
    BudBox 32022 https://www.jdeation.com/d/RUY3P5CE
    CG-1500 https://www.jdeation.com/cg1500_single

If you still prefer going HolidayCoro route, look at the old threads on help with their controllers(Alphapix) here(in the last year). They can help you also, via email.

Still good info if nobody is getting rid of their show this off season! I appreciate it.
