Exclamation Light Strings, Vixen, Arduino, and Crazy Sequences, Oh My!

I got a new laptop to run my light show. I installed the latest version of Vixen a few months ago, uploaded my completed sequences from an eternal usd drive, and resaved the sequences to update them as per instructions within Vixen program. I am using the scheduler within Vixen to run the show. The problem is that even though the sequences are playing the correct music, the led light strings are not following the programming within the sequence. I can watch the preview and that is following the correct programming but the lights outside are not even close to what I programmed. Any ideas?

    Need a bit more information.

    What type of Arduino?
    What sketch are you using?
    What type of Relay/SSRs?
    How many channels?
Did they ever work inside before you put them outside?

    Arduino mega 2560
    Sansain 8 channel ssr
    48 channels
    Sequences programmed via Vixen.
The system had been used for three years and was ran by a raspberry pi using Falcon Pi player but for some reason I can not log into the Pi, so decided to run from computer. This is the first time that I have ever saw that the actual lights are not synced to the program.

what sketch are you using? if it is the VictorPV sketch you need to have header characters progrmmed in the Vixen General Serial controller. Also the correct buad rate, usually 57600 or something close to that.

I am not using Pixels, my lights are simply led light strings from Home Depot.

Yes, I understand that your lights are AC string lights. But to help figure out the issue I always start by asking which Arduino sketch (program) you are using. Some sketches work better than others. If you can post a copy here, it will help me and others figure out what may be happening.

Also, can you get the lights to work when you run from the sequence editor?
