I nominate Lenny Ruehl 149 Ramlen Ct Appleton, Wi 54915

Sorry I don't have his number, I just live near him and saw his beautiful house. 80,000 lights timed to a 17 minute show.
    Good luck!

AjayR please look at this video this is just 1/4 of what we have.... My mother really wants me to do it... don't know if you guys would be interested or not. Everything is hand made wireframes, and hand made electronics to control it all using IC / PIC chips.

Your animated wireframes are really nice. Billowing smoke on the train, Santa tipping his magic hat, and I especially like the sleigh with trotting horse and driver snapping the reins. Well done!

I would like to nominate this family. It’s huge! (Millions of lights spread across a multi-acre ranch south-east of Dallas.)

There's no way I can compete with the houses that were in this season's shows. But if the producers of The Great Christmas Light Fight do a seson on smaller displays i'd possibly consider entering my display. My front yard is only 60ftx50ft. Nothing compared to those that I saw the past4 weeks.

I would like to see them catagorize the displays so its more apples to apples.
    for example:
    1. only synchronized displays against synchronized displays
    2. Small lot sizes
    3. Multi Acre lot sizes
    4. Multi Family

As could be seen again this year, the 'typical' synchronized displays get destroyed in the judging when stacked against traditional displays.
In fact, I think they should have a special judge for the synchronized displays that knows the technology and can better gauge the effort involved.

I think you need to email him not just post here. I doubt he will look back at this thread, at least I don't think so.

Not everyone can have the type of display they are after or the personality they look for. But if you think you got what it takes to go against the "big guys", I encourage you to give it a shot. You may not get accepted but you never know unless you try... Just do yourself a favor and understand the competition you may be up against. I think too many people get butt hurt because they don't get accepted.. Well don't.. it is all meant as a TV show and for fun.. and they get way too many entries to take everyone.

I can tell you that as a former contestant in 2015, I met some of the best people in their crews. All class acts and all very helpful. It was a very rewarding experience even though I didn't win. Have fun with it..

Merry Christmas from "Lights at the Ranch"

    Craig
