    Default Another Mega Tree Star

I saw a star like this somewhere DIYC but don't remember where so i cant take the credit for it .

Made from 3/16 cold rolled 6 pieces bent and welded to the center post.
Made one change this one has six sides not five. I used a 3/8 piece of hex for the center.Made it easy to get the spacing right. It is two foot high over all.
Takes 50 lights to go up and down so it has three channels.

Having bought one and seeing this I really like yours. Makes me want to now go read up on wire frames / bending / and all. At least I should stock up on clips for the star I have. I used rope light and tie wraps but I'd rather switch to LED lights and clips.

The prices do seem reasonable. What size exploding star did you get? Also what is the shipping cost. Thanks

    Mike,
I got the Large Exploding Star that is 4 foot tall with 4 levels (48", 36", 24", & 12") . It comes as two separate halves with bolts to connect together. It has a nice powder coated finish.
Shipping is not cheap because it is based on dimensional weight, it came in a huge 3 foot x 3 foot box. The shipping cost me like $25 to South Florida.
If you add an item to the cart on his website you can estimate shipping charges.
