Yet another cheap pixel arch

This is my first year actually building my display.

I really like the arches with 3 rows of pixels, but couldn't convince myself to pay what the coro plastic vendors ask for and still have to do a bunch of the work myself.

So I built my own...

I was able to get 5 x 6'x3' arches from a $26 sheet of 1/4" plywood from lowe's.

For whatever reason I spent a bunch of time trying to remember geometry and calculating pi.... Instead of googling it, but made it more fun, I guess...

Made a template for a quarter of a circle, but slightly offset the cut to not land on the pixels.

Rough cut them all on jig-saw, then finished 4-6 at a time on the band saw.

Marked the holes from template with a sharp tool.

Drilled them all and lightly sanded.

Painted it with some 5 year old oil based paint that was too thick to spray.

Zip tied to 1/2" pvc

Put a metal string on the bottom to release the stress from the zip ties and wood.

Added pixels.

Only took half of Saturday and half of Sunday to prep all 5 of them (minus adding the pixels).
