custom prop disappeared

I have been working on a new custom prop on and of. When I went to modify it, I open the file, the custom prop appears, I make the changes, save the file, close it, and when I want to work on it again, I restart the same process. I have been doing several time with no issue.
This time, I encountered a problem. the file won't open, and it simply shows the empty screen for a new prop. If I tried to open other custom props, they work normally.
The one that won't open is in the Vixen directly and is 800Kb, so it is not like it is empty. The other ones are smaller, 2 or 300 kb.
Any suggestion how to retrieve it?

No, no backup of course
BTW, it turned out that it was probably an operator's error, not a bug. I may have saved an empty prop on the top of the custom prop I was working on.
Since then, I have recreated the prop... and I have plenty of backups for it!
