Digital Multi Meter
A multimeter can be a handy device useful for basic fault finding and field service work or a bench instrument which can measure to a very high degree of accuracy. They can be used to troubleshoot electrical problems in a wide array of industrial and household devices such as batteries, motor controls, appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems.

Not all GFCI outlets use resistive ground load testing to check the electronics and mainly only check the mechanical tripping to make sure it works by using an external tester it gives you 100% certainty that the cfi safety circuit is working properly by applying a precise 6 milliamp current across the hot and ground path. |
