    Default Wiring multiple HP Power supplies

    Has anyone run 2 0r 3 HP Power supplies off a single power cord? How did you do it? Yes i know the math, i will not be exceeding the breaker.

    When you say HP do you mean High Power or PC power supplies?
    and if you mean High Power, how much voltage? (in/out)

    Yes I have. Wire the same as pixels, except the data line is G. L1 & L2 and G of Wall to first PS L1 & L2 and G, then to 2nd L1 & L2 and G and so on.....

    Using the server supplies, but will only use 120, so i will only get the 800 watts. i juts dont wanna run multiple power cords.

    Server PS . . . You need to cut off plug male plug and strip molded female ends.....and join to an incoming power cord. I join with terminal boards. Terminal boards have covers to protect for accidental contact

    If you are asking about the AC side, you can create your own "multi-tap" using various methods. (mrGrumpy describes one above.) One male (NEMA 5-15P) with two (IEC) females.

    We use molded Y-power cables of this exact configuration. They are molded to have one in and two out and are available in various lengths.

    Note: Our cables came from HP server setups and are of 14 gauge wire. Not sure where you can get them now as I've been retired long enough for them to go out of business. :|
