How to Delete a Post

With the older forum software, we used to be able to delete a post. I don't see a way to do that now. Am I just missing it?

I'll guess that editing/deleting is not enabled -- it's set to a time limit after posting.

Right - so what is one to do if they wish to delete a post? Can mod's delete them?

Usually, yes... moderators should have that permission, but I don't know if they still do with this newer software. I don't think Brian is monitoring the forum very much anymore.

Can we just get the ability to edit posts forever and delete them too if we want? This seems silly now and the people we had problems with are long gone.

You can do it on most sites and Facebook too. The arguments or disagreement eventually resolve themselves.

The only real protection I would enforce is the ability to edit or delete someone else's posts.
