EasySync USB to RS485

Has anyone used the EasySync USB to RS485 adapters with their Renard Controllers and Vixen? Thoughts? They have their 2 and 4 port ones on sale right now for $40 for dual port and $67 for 4 port. Seems like a pretty decent price. http://www.easysync-ltd.com/index.ht...t=d15.html#p41 Or should I go with the US Converters one as it seems like there are multiple people that use them successfully.

I tried using USB's this past year.....got some very strange and eratic operation so I gave up and bought a serial card.....didn't answer your question but thought I would chime in on the USB idea anyhow....sorry didn't mean to hijack....

Can't speak much to their USB->RS485's, but I have one of the EasySync Ltd. ES-U-1001-B10 Budget USB->RS232 converters and it works great. I then run it through a Hexin RS232-RS485 Converter, Model: 485 off eBay to get my RS485.
