I saw something like that a while back but they came in lots of different shapes, sizes and colors, and they cost a lot less.

I wonder if you could add and remove them fast enough and then hook them up to Vixen to run a sequence.

2008: transitioned from X10 to Vixen + Renard (112 channels, banked out to about 200)
2009: chipiplexed Renard (224 channels) + non-chipiplexed Renard (112 banked out to ~200)
2010: garage door-triks, maybe prop-triks, retro-fit the Renard 112 for chipiplexing (a Renard 1K!)
TBD; still lots of cool ideas floating around!

That's funny - - we have a server appliance that has a blue LED on it that I swear must be running at 2 amps or something because it is wicked bright! I had to put tape over it to keep those #($*# spots showing up on my retinas!

144 Channels w/Ren48LSD running DMX to drive RGB+W Super Strips and RGB Rainbow Floods - complete (1st year)
64 Channels w/Ren64 running DMX with LabRat DCSSRs to drive Phil's strobes - Ren64 complete (1st year), DCSSRs complete (2nd year)
25 RGB+W Super Strips - all original 19 updated with white LEDs, 5 more built with RGB - need UV/Orange LEDs
Full 2x2 LEDTriks Display (32x96 or 3072 pixels) - All panels (12), LEDTriks (4), Triks-C (4) complete and assembled - just need to box it up
4 Rainbow Floods - complete (1st year)
LEDs, LEDs... - figuring out what to do with 500 PLCC-6 LEDs...
25K Lights - mostly LED
Christmas in San Jose (ugliest site ever!)

i reckon it is real cool how by placing a Dim Dot over the LED it is also stops the LED pulsing - How do d'ay do tat?
