If we get the price <= $48 I could get about 10 kits but it might be a few weeks before I'd order.

No - take a look through http://www.christmasinshirley.com/wi...nard_Main_Page (the Ren 24 HC is the new/improved version of the "Renard 24")

At the heart they are the same, but the Renard 24 (HC) has on-board SSRs to drive AC loads, the LV does not have on-board SSRs but has built-in ULN2803 drivers that can be used for smaller DC loads and also to drive external AC or DC SSRs.
