Question about continuous running

I thought a couple months or so ago I read somewhere that when you leave vixen running a program that your screensaver and all power savers need to be turned off or the program will freeze. I am sure I have this wrong somewhat but could someone point in the right direction.

Not sure about vixen in particular, but being in the server support business, we always disable all that stuff since it chews up cpu cycles, and the power saver stuff often make the timing within applications go haywire since it messes with the cpu speed in many systems...so yea, I would just turn your monitor off by hand, and disable all that "helpful" stuff from microsoft..
