They are ripping the lights out and putting LED porta flood boards in them.

They buy the light for the housing only

Me too... the guy in the store didn't believe that they stocked them at first. Its kinda a weird place to find them!

l'm using them to light the front of the house and the Reindeer, done a test last night with 3 in front of the house and one on the reindeer, l have 3 banks of red, white and blue.
The red is a bit dull and l'll probably put an eaxtra full red in the middle for the house wash, but the other colours come up a treat, especially the reindeer, pictures didn't come out so l'll have to wait until Nov. now.
