Boy am I behind the curve. I ran last year on Vixen 1.0 even though I had 2.0 working, finally felt safe enough after Christmas to convert everything 20 2.0 and now I have to figure out 2.1 so I can go to 2.5 Whew!

Ernie, we need another Minnesota Mini so you and Jrock can do a vixen demo. (you can upgrade my 16 gig flash drive too)
HA, somebody else is putting up my lights this year.

Zip file updated. The graph was only showing 100 values instead of 256 due to a remnant from a change that was pulled out. Thanks to Joshua for insisting that what he saw was correct.

    KC,

I love the that the dimming function's now work, however the editor is tedious to say the least.... is there any possible way that you could make the text that says "Channel value X will output at X" say something like "Channel Value X (number in percentage) will output at X (number in percentage)"... It would save a lot of time of people having to convert between 0-255 and 0-100 scale.

    Thanks Again!!!!

Since it seems we are making a wish list here....stop me if i am asking for something already in Vixen that i just have not found....How about a detachable window for the adjustable preview so I can have my sequence on one monitor and the preview on another. Also, since I am a very visual person I like to make a change (even very minor) and see the effect right away so it would be cool if the adjustable preview could stay up in the second monitor during edits.

Thanks KC for an awesome program. I decided on Vixen for my first foray into this well before I chose a controller.

You can do this by extending your Vixen window across both screens, (not maximize) and then size the window for the sequence within the first screen, and move the adjustable preview over to the second window. However I think the continually updating preview could be awesome, however it could prove to be a drain on higher channel count sequences.

That's what I have been doing but each time I stop the sequence the preview goes away and does not seem to remember where it was the previous time when I restart it. I was pretty proud of myself when I realized I could stretch the whole window across both monitors....lol.

Yea, the dual monitor thing is nice, i think the adjustable preview thing could be cool, but for now what i do is highlight the area that i want to see and use the play from button.

KC just sent you another bug numbered #63 on bugzilla

Of all the stupid...sigh...it's working again. I also added the percentage to the channel value text at the top of the dialog. Zip file is updated.

I'll see why the preview window isn't remembering its previous position.
