Thread: Ren-T Wanted

    Default Ren-T Wanted

    Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where I might still be able to find a Ren-T board?

Otherwise, can anyone offer some suggestions for the easiest way to generate the zero cross signal and convert to RS485? I'd rather not make my own boards if possible, and it would be nice to keep everything looking neat. I'm trying to convert my GRINCH to a dimming controller with a Ren-C and Ren-T.

    Thanks,
    Nate

Ren T boards have been used up. Here is a link to a solution

    or this one

If you get it working. Let me know. I am trying also, and have hit a wall. Although I am just finishing up 10 Ren 24's so I haven't got serious about it just yet.
HA, somebody else is putting up my lights this year.

What about the conversion to RS485? Are you going to use a seperate converter, or do you not need the extra distance? That is what's so appealing about the Ren-T to me, it does the RS485 and ZC.
