Power Supply Recommendations

I'm looking for best bang for your buck 12V and/or 24V power supplies 200-450W range.

I have a Meanwell PSU I use for projects where I need clean power.

What I'm looking for are some low cost PSU options good enough to drive pixels. Any recommendations?

Truth be known, most any of the generics are good and cheaper than the Meanwells. Many of us have quite a few of the generics and they have been in service for quite a while.
Now, with that said, I prefer the Meanwells in the ~350 range. The HP Server power supplies are my goto for the 700+ ranges.

Others will have different opinions, for sure.

I have always used the generic ones from Amazon or eBay. Never had a failure.

I keep a white box spare for each size used, even if it's a Meanwell. I don't buy PS from Amazon or Ebay anymore, you never know what you will get, and you jeopardize your Amazon account when there are issues. Generally, if you buy from known suppliers like WiredWatts and alike you get PS as good as Meanwell in a white box and a good price.
