Modifying and existing element

Is there a way to modify and existing element (polyline) to add more patch points to it?

I have replaced my GECE 's with Pixabulbs so I went from 36 elements on the polyline to needing 54. Can I just modify the existing polyline without have to delete it and create a new one with the additional elements I need?

Yes, you can click on the the poly line shape and edit the light count in the properties box in the lower left. If it is just the simple poly line, it will add the extra nodes. If you have multiple segments, it will split the full node count amongst the segments. Once you have the extra nodes added, you can then link them in the Linked Elements dialog in the same properties pane by clicking the ... box next to Collection.

I did go back into display setup and used "add multiple" and was able to add the nodes to the end of the existing number, thus keeping the naming convention intact. I then went into the preview setup and added the nodes to the poly-line like you suggested.

For future reference, the Add Multiple is also available in the Preview. Aside from patching, you can do most of the element setup in the Preview so you don't have to go back and forth so much.
