The Lynx boards are solid and have always worked as is - the software does not need to be modified. There is a way to set the channel numbers from the controller on the fly. With the Lynx boards, I have never needed to flash software to update channel numbers which is why I used these first. Also, one of the Lynxs is wireless, then I would run cat5 cable to everything else in line. Everything is DMX; I have always had a mix of controllers due to limited group buys in the early days. The next in line was the RenSS24s and they are currently set to use DMX as well. Everything plays nice together.

Lastly, if anyone is interested make an offer. It has to go before next year and I definitely do not want to throw stuff away, especially the ones I built. I have more pictures, just couldn't upload them. PM me if you want to see more.
