Default Who is the primary for brightness?

From what I can see, you can set brightness in the Xlights models, or in the "driver" board....Falcon or ESpixelsticks (and the like). So does the pixel hardware drivers override what you set in Xlights?

The primary is in the Controller tab. Then any brightness you set in your models would override that, then brightness in your effects would override that.

Actually, they don't "override", they are additive. Thus if you set the brightness of the model to 50% and then set the brightness on the controller to 50%, the result is 25% brightness.

The guys in the Xlights room told me they overrode, like 1 1/2 years ago. If they're additive, they I am very confused how that stacks with the gamma curve.
