I use the Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM on the IPV-1115.
What fans on IPV-1115 and IPV-1116 Vents? I know these are 60mm and 80mm fans but did you all go with 2-pin or 4-pin? What fans did you find to be a good value for our applications?

I have a Kingwin 80mm on my IPV-1116
It has 3 wires but I only use 2 (red & black) and is connected to a thermostat to switch it on and off.

Very similar to what etterm above did, but I went with just 2 pin 12V fans, wired to a programmable thermostat board. It doesn't get very hot at all here in my part of Oregon so a thermostat is probably overkill but I'd rather do that than have the fan blowing full time.
Are there any guides on how to wire a fan to the power supply? I have a Meanwell 5v power supply but a Kulp controller with no fan header. Do I just wire the fan cables directly to the power supply like the controller is wired?
You mean you wired the fan to the thermostat switch and then that directly to the power supply? I was thinking of doing similar but want to make sure i don't blow anything out.
Basically order this and wire the power supply and fan to the blue ... socket?

If you are concerned with air flow drill out the holes on the vent a bit bigger, the air is so restricted it cant move much, no mater how powerful your fans are. For a normal controller you shouldn't need more then a little air flow to cover the heat load.
I recently built a projector inclosure and needed air flow, two vents in and two vents out. I was able to double the air flow after drilling the vents holes out and sanding down the burs.
As for a thermostat controlled fan, I use these; 5v or 12v

This is how mine is controlled. I haven't mounted it yet as I need to make a mounting plate that I will probably end up using Velco to attach it to door side of enclosure.
