    Default End of life notice

I just received an "end of life" notice from Mouser for 512-FQPF13N06L MOSFET used in the REN24DC. Any thoughts for a replacement as I am still using that controller?
Take what you can, give nothing back!
    2010 - First Attack - Success!
    2011 - Survived Second Attack!
    2012 - In Total Control
    2013 - Calm Sailing
    2014 - I feel a change in the wind
2015 - no show - Got lazy in Paradise
    2016 - Back on course
2017 - no show - Laying in a New Course
    2018 - Hard to Remember
2019 - Ah, Calm Lights on the Horizon - static
2020 - Maybe? Nope. Looking ahead - new adventure
2021 - Making adjustments for the new adventure - more difficult than expected, but working
2022 - Old pirates shouldn't have to think so much, but the adventure continues at least one more time

Most, if not all, parts in that OnSemi/Fairchild line are being discontinued, although that is such a ubiquitous part that I wouldn't worry about obtaining it into the near- to mid-term future. There are also a lot of more or less equivalent parts made by other manufacturers, such as the STP16NF06FP from ST.

BTW, are you still building those boards? If not, just order a few parts to replace any that die.

Here is what I have been using. These are rated at 6 amps.
Wish I could find a source for the Tamura 3fs-312 transformer!

Thanks guys. I just replaced a couple and bought some extras for later, so I'm ok for now.

Those parts are triacs, quite different from the parts that Capt'n Jack was asking about.

Online Components has plenty of the 3fs-312 transformers:

Even though the DIGWDF Store has been closed for almost five years, it's still awesome!
User guides, documentation and other files are still free and available for downloading.

I just purchased 10 of the Dual voltage from Mouser a month ago, 3FD-312.
