13 years for me.
Yes.... Time does fly.
Hard to believe that you could only get a controller (bare Renard PCB) once a year during the one and only group buy !
Noob. Nube. Newb. I guess it all comes down to where you are from.
Amazing how someone with 14 years of experience (yours truly) is constantly finding new stuff, new methods, (new spellings) being presented into a Blinky World.
It is nice to know that this site, and others like it, have been around as a source for anything one needs help with for so long.
Yes - Happy 15th!
And many thanks to those that have been here with it. Now there is gold, if I ever saw it!!!
Edit: That is 14 years in the "Blinky World". We won't talk about the 30+ years in static displays before that. Which, by the way, this site came in pretty handy with during the transition from sensible, easy, wonderful to the maddening world of "Blinky-Flashy".

I really can't believe I have been do this for 10 years. This forum started my light addition!
2012 - Current : I light things up and I know stuff, it's what I do!
I blame my wife for my light addiction. But member imbluenote is the one who introduced me to this amazing site. If my memory serves me well he replied to an ad I placed on Craigslist looking for lights. I haven't seen him on here in a while I hope he still checks in.

This year is my 10th anniversary of doing animated lighting, and this site is the reason I am involved. My wife and I saw a show at the local Career and Technical Center school in 2011 and loved it. She found me information on LOR, but I was too cheap to go that direction. She then found this site and I learned about Renard and I was hooked. I was able to purchase 64 channels of Renard for the price of 8 LOR. That first year my wife did 3 sequences in Vixen 2. Unfortunately, she has not done any sequencing since, but I am still using updated versions of her original sequences in my show.
Thanks for all the help, support, and laughs I have found on this site!
2012 - 1st year 64 Channels - 7500 LED lights - 5 sequences
2013 - 128 Channels - 10,000 LED lights - 7 sequences (2 New)
