Think you need to take a connector that fits those pins and dunk that entire board into some CORROSION X ( drip dry over night before use )... bet it won't get wet then .
Bet you could hold that sucker UNDER water and it won't be affected then
    Cheap ,
    easy ,
    NOT so time consuming ,
    AND without a DOUBT ,
reliable for NOT taking and getting shorted out via water leakage ..

Interesting idea. I'm not familiar with the product.

Is there a way to get it off to reprogram the processor? Alcohol and a toothbrush maybe?

EDIT: Looks like lacquer thinner or MEK will remove the stuff. I'll buy a small bottle for testing.

JEC, Love the new design. Just curious, how many would need to be ordered to get them for $4 or $5 each (assembled)?

How many do you usually order? If I could come up with the cash I would get 150 of them.

Last batch was 600 pieces. Used half myself, sold half.

If there's interest, I'll place a new order in January / February some time. 3 week turnaround.

I may also consider selling the 200 pieces I used this Christmas, along with their assorted cables and wiring harnesses. There are 7 discrete runs, each with 20-50 pixels and 100-150' of power / data cable. Bulbs are currently on 8" centers.

I also have 20 bare boards for an 8-way isolated DMX splitter. I've used two of them with great results this season - one for each universe I'm running. $5 each, contact me for a schematic.

Just a guess but I bet 1000 would be doable given enough leadtime to get all the interested parties assembled.
