Default Do the Remotes need all files?

I'm running FPP on a BBB that is the Master. I also have 3 more that are configured as remote. I have all of them synced. Do I need to add my sequences and audio to the Remotes also or will they pick up whats being played using multisync?
I've got some weird things happening, looks like my tune to sign info is scrolling on my Matrix and vice versa.

I have a RPi 3B as master and a Pi zero as a remote. What I have to do is the sequence names have to match. You donít need Audi files because they play on the master.

I think the remotes only need the files it will be playing. I can't see it hurting to upload all files to all remotes. also the file names across pi's must match.

you only need the files on the remotes that the remotes need to play. There's no reason to include audio or video files if a particular remote isn't going to use them.
The files don't need to be the same as what's on the master, but the file names and sequence length must match. You can export separate fseq files for each remote containing only the channels that remote needs to control whatever it's controlling.
The less you copy over to each remote, the faster the file transfers will be, and less disk space you'll need on each FPP. If your matrix didn't have the channel data for the tune to, and vice versa, they wouldn't even be able to play the wrong thing.

One remote is running my Tune To Sign Matrix that is part of the sequence,I assume that that remote would need the files so it knows when to run the message?

it only needs a sparse fseq file that only contains the channels for that matrix. It doesn't need a full fseq that contains channels for other stuff.

Thanks Jon,can you elaborate on what the sparse fseq file is? Does that mean that controller would just need the V2/sparse and not the V2? I also have a Globe that lights up also during playback, that would also just need the sparse fseq?

It's basically just an fseq file that only contains the channel data for the channels that controller in using.
