Post How to setup brightness of pixels in Preview window of xLights?

    Hello everybody,

I have a question on how to setup the brightness of pixels in the preview window of xLights?
I mean, it is ok when the window is small but when in full screen, pixels are difficult to see. I tried to locate an information about this in the manual but could not locate it.

Does anyone have an idea on where it is located or a work around trick?

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    Olivier

That's a good question. One thing you could try:
In your layout tab, when you select a model, scroll down. There is an "Appearance" sub-menu. You can try to increase the node pixel size or play around w/ the pixel style setting. Let us know if that works for you.

    Hello Cmndr Brain,

Thanks a lot, that works ...yes and no...Yes, because the increase of the pixel size, makes it better on the full screen view in the house preview..So, it answers the question. But there is a downside effect which is that the model preview is like a matrix with too big pixels...
I fond that the video rendering makes it better also...I will try to juggle between the appearance parameters and the video rendering.

    Thanks again,

    Olivier
