Of course my 2nd computer had to quit on me just before Christmas season.😡 I have a chrome book and am wondering if I can run xlights on it. Please give a clear answer because it depends if I am doing a display this year! Thanks!

I believe the answer is no.

However, according to chromebook hacking sites you can install and run linux in them with various results. works better on intel based hardware. after you get some version of that installed and working, you could work on fpp. Unless you have a lot of practice with linux, I would think the learning curve (and frustration) will be high.

Don't give up on the show. scrounge the internet, friends, work for a cheap pc and carry on. Or for $100, you can get a rPi complete that will run fpp. You could even go rpi zero with ethernet adapter for 50ish.
