    I have bought a couple of hiletgo devices. all delivered on time. all came working. Don't really have performance or build info as I don't have enough experience with other devices.

    I've got two potential designs for the analog isolating amplifier.

    The first one, which is what I'm likely to go with, is a single channel board to interface a 0-5V unipolar signal to the 0-5V ADC input of a microcontroller (such as an Arduino). The PCB is 1.1" x 1.45". The input side has 3 signals - Ground, Analog In, and a 1.25V output reference signal. The reference signal is for calibrating the amplifier and for use with a capacitor for observing a bipolar signal. The board has one IL-300 optocoupler, two op-amps and a 5V DC/DC isolating power converter.

    The second design is a bit more complicated, and I probably will not go with it. It has a front end for measuring AC current through- and the AC voltage across an 110V device, as well as a direct 0-5V DC signal and a 1.25V reference voltage. The host microcontroller (e.g. Arduino) is able to select which signal is connected to the isolated amplifier. This design is quite specifically targeted towards my first intended use (generating Dimmer tables), but is probably too specific for future use. This board is almost twice the area of the first design. This board incorporates a CD4052 analog multiplexer and 4N35-type optocouplers (to isolate the Arduino digital outputs from the CD4052 control inputs) in addition to the components from the first design.

    I'm going to let this simmer for a day or two before ordering boards.

    I admit I have not read what exactly is being worked on here too closely, but is anything along the lines of Pix2AC in the pipe?

    i will adjust the latest esp32 pwm code to allow you to go down to 1khz


    2021 New Tune-to sign. New 40x27 matrix at the house. Retiring the Strip based matrix. Updating some of the old window frames to the new house. Adding two new songs.
    2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
    2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.
