you not missing anything lot of people used them but by going rigid they are strait and not flemzy also some put them permanent for all year around and paint the pvc to match their house color

It seems everybody is using PVC pipes to mount pixels to outline doors, windows, etc. I don't quite understand why because those PVC pipes are bulky to store, heavy, require drilling into brittle stucco, etc. Why aren't people just using the "PixelTrimSystem" from holidaycoro? https://www.holidaycoro.com/PixelTri...-p/1054-11.htm It's not too expensive at $4 for 2.4m (though it adds up...) and you can use zip ties on mounting positions every 1m or so. I must be missing something.

I use pvc pipe. It is not heavy and keeps things nice and straight. I can carry 5 arches in one hand with no problem.
2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.
