I would like to add some faceted covers to my standard 12mm bullet pixels.
I prefer the faceted light output.
I see the ones Ray sells.
Can folks comment who have done this please.
Ray's price seems steep with shipping.
Does anyone in the USA sell these where they have purchased in bulk and pass along the savings?
I'd also like to know about any that have been 3D printed.
How do you like the performance, cost, and time to print.
Any models to share?
I'm curious if this is really a viable option if you need 2 or 3 thousand of them.

I can chime in from a 3d printed perspective a bit.. although not truly the fauceted style I printed several (about 200) c7 sized caps for pixels and was impressed with how they turned out, although can be a bit on the fragile side compared to the retrofit leds I had been using, they turned out great. IF I could find some G40 sized covers I would do it again and cost was minimal, about $10 for the 200 I printed which I didn't think was too bad. What size are you looking for?

Wilmar's design is a-1 for printing your own if you like the original C-* bulb look .
I used the c-7 style covers off of regular leds 2 years ago on my 12mm bullets but they are to small and lack luster imho .
just the cover that was like 5-6 year ago .not sure if they change style since

There is a thread in the 3D printing forum too. If I find it I’ll post that as well. It has some pictures.
Found it:

I took a stab at printing the C9s model I posted the link to. Seems a 'bit' large. Pics attached for comparison to a C9 from my 'App lights' I own. I asked in the original thread if someone had tried making them smaller.
