    Hi, you could use a WS2811 to drive a triac via a MOC3023 and switch the mains to the flood.

    The clips were easy to pry off, but unfortunately you were correct about the glass being glued to the housing. It's going to stay sealed up.

    You can buy WS2811 30W LED's from China for <$20, although these guys are by no means IP65. You will have to come up with that yourself (but at least you don't have to figure out the WS2811 part):

    These 200w leds literally turn night into day . Definitely going to have create a diffusing cover .
