Got tired of my Prusa I3...
No doubt due to it's home built nature...
So went a bit crazy on Amazon..

It tends to usually come down to the MK3s+ and the Ender 3v2, when people are recommending 3D printers. I'm sure you'll get it going.

What was wrong with the Prusa? Which version did you have?

    Good going Bob .
You will enjoy that little creator of many useful things you didn't know you needed !
It is shocking at how much consumables these little gems require ...namely one's time and pocket book .

Seconded. It takes up a bunch of my time. Also, I'm starting to get the side eye from both my wife and my co-workers (they all have Enders) who I'm sure are getting tired of the questions and discussions. It can be a lonely and frustrating place when something isn't going right and you've tried 20 times to get it right and there's no one to call. My hope for you is you have techie kids and none of your friends are old guys like me who's minds are going.

But I'd like to add, you'll learn to love the Ender 3. After some upgrades it's pretty awesome. If the noise bothers you, consider the BIGTREETECH SKR Min E3 V2.0 replacement control board. I also got the Touch Screen for this board TFT 35 E3 V3.0. There's an added advantage for the touch screen upgrade. You can use USB sticks and TF cards with an adapter right from the side of the display. Combined they're about $90 on Amazon, and were worth every cent IMO.

So can certainly recommend the Ender 3 V2...
Went together pretty quickly (though I followed a YouTube guide rather than try to follow the manual)
Did a quick bed level and was able to print right away..
Used the slicer they supplied (older version of Cura)..
Steppers are unbelievably quiet (you can not hear them) with the new drivers..
It also has the new 32 bit controller board...
    Fans are loud...
