I have been purchasing Monoprice 4 conductor speaker wire in both 16 & 18 AWG (it also comes in other gauges and lengths) and using both 2 pin and 3 pin versions of these plugs. If the length of cable I am running for 3 wire is not too long I can pull out the 4th wire to use elsewhere. I will also use the 4 wire for 2 PI runs. If the PI points are not close I strip off the outer covering and twist the longer pair with a power drill and cut off the shorter pair to length. I will also cut off the connectors that come with the pixels and connect these directly to the wires. If you go this route, I have found the correct crimpers make installing these a whole lot easier, but not absolutely necessary.
You can find these plugs on Amazon, Ebay, and direct from China. There are two different styles available, but as long as you get the same style they are all interchangeable.

I have these that I bought a long time ago. These may be ray wu? I have about 30 of them. I have both male and female sides.
Oh, they were! I just looked up my order. I assume they aren't the same then?
Yes I am. I guess I bought a few too many. Haha.
