    Default arduino uno

    so i have a project i am trying to do i dont know if its Possible to do.
    what i am trying to do is have an arduino uno running 8ch sainsmart ssr board for 8 led flood lights that parts easy the problem i run in to is i want to be able to turn the lights on Through the arduino without being connected to the PC, Either with switches or some sort of code that i would use with a Photo sensor in combination with a sketch. and still be able to do a light show for the holidays any idea's.

    Switches and photo sensors are easy to add to an arduino project. One of the popular sketches in the this Arduino forum times out when there is no input on the serial port and runs a "random script". You could implement that so that the show code could control when it receives serial data otherwise, it can read the switches.

    Quite a few threads have the code. zparticle or victorpv are good searches. There is one here that uses Renard (better in my mind than serial):
