If I use the latest version of vixen it will not respond right a way. If I use an older version it will allow for a short time then not respond.

    I do have windows 10.

I will maybe in the future do more with my lights. I just really want to do now is turn them on and off to music. I have several spot lights. I have standard over the counter LED string lights. I just need a basic code that will operate all 24 channels. When I get more familiar then move on.

That looks okay to me. Is this a direct USB connection?

Did you change your sketch to use digital write?

    Did you add start logic?

What is fps setting in Vixen?

I have no Idea what start logic is, sorry.

I am thinking to connect to my internet service via ethernet, could my WIFI be to slow at time?

Where exactly does this message appear at?

Do you have the Arduino application open while you are trying to run Vixen? It needs to be closed.

Have you tried any other sketches? I suggest trying the one from Victor_PV - http://doityourselfchristmas.com/for...th-Random-mode

If you would like to talk about it on the phone, I am in the PST and available. Let me know and I will PM you my phone number.

Have you gone back to a previous version? According to Vixen Bug https://bugs.vixenlights.com/project...=allopenissues

    It seems that
"Whenever you install a major release version (the number after the 3) you should never go back to the previous version. (For example 3.7 to 3.6) It can break things badly in your profile. At this point you should uninstall 3.6 and reinstall the 3.7u3."
As well as this comment "Make sure that antivirus isn’t interfering with the installation. We’ve seen several partial installations this year due to antivirus being too aggressive."

Crazy light addict, i will give that a try.

Kevin, I might be taking you up on your offer. We can do a Skype as well, believe I could relinquish control on there if we had to.
