The best I've seen was someone who had more than a few. They created a cart they could pull with a garden tractor with all of them hanging from hooks.
If you don't want to sit them on shelves, perhaps you can design your own "box" for them.
looking for ideas here. since they only fit maybe 2 in a normal tote, what are people doing to store them. I have 9, but planning to finish all 24 this year.

I have about 24 RBL's and I put them in large plastic heavy duty trash bags. Then store them in the attic.
I have a few large totes that are 38 gallons. I can fit close to 20 in them
This is how I store mine. I have them on pvc posts though, not using the original hooks.
I store them in totes. I get 8 in a tote.
Just hang them up using a hanging light chain like I did

I hang my 20 on a laundry drying wire (one of those cheap steel wires with the green rubber sheathing) that I attach to the joists in my basement. If I want to carry them all I can just unhook the 2 ends from the joists and bring the whole thing up at once. Debating about splitting it into two smaller sections though.
Hanging in my shed from a 100 lbs test line. 10 in on a line.
2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.
