    Nevermind I'm a dumbass that's a per channel mA rating on the schematic I guess just thru me off the way it reads

    I've not tried it on the ws2811 but the TM1814 use the 4 channel rgb version and it has it in the data sheet. I don't understand it either unless your connecting all the DI pads together but that don't sound legit. I'll get the link

    Here's the TM1814 circuit and it's not the same. On it your running all 4 outputs to one channel/color so you can combine output but not across ic's. And I still don't see how this would mix color correctly

    If you need that much current, take a WS2811 chip, add three high power mosfets that can handle the PWM rate of the chip and you are good to go.


    2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
    2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.
