Yeah, I looked at that one too and it is very nice. Similar to the TopsCNC except the Tops design requires you print a bunch of parts and it uses structural aluminum channel (2040) to keep things rigid. Once you get the BobsCNC up and running, please be sure to let us know how its working for you. If you find you like it and need a larger size, you can probably reuse some of the parts and build the TopsCNC as an upgrade.

Look at the MPCNC if you haven't already. It uses a lot of 3d printed parts as well as common electrical conduit for the rails. I'm in the process of building one as well as a 1610 size desktop cnc mill.

Yes, I have watched the video on that one. I think that I would just pony up the dough to buy the parts already printed. But first things first, learn the processes with the 3018.
