The pessimist in me says too much hassle to get that changed. The optimist says that is a heck of good idea. Maybe you can encourage the solution by making signs that encourage everyone to go one way.
Wondering if anyone has gone to the extreme of getting a road closed or made one way etc.
I am getting a ton of traffic and the distant neighbors are getting cranky.
I live on the end of a street with access to both sides of me from other ways so although some would be inconvenienced there’s still a way for everybody to get around.
Am I crazy to think I can shut down the street?

If history repeats itself, this will be your busiest week. If you tell the cranky ones that you're working on it, they'll thank you next week.

I live on the corner of a cul-de-sac and have closed the street down a few times. Contact the city and see what they say. I'm able to control traffic by myself without closing the street down the last few years. I avoid all media!

To give you some perspective this is where our display is. The yellow box is all our landlords property. The red lines indicate where I would like to get closed.
There are roads all around our property for our neighbors to get home.

This is a closeup for our home with black boxes indicating where we get most cars parking.
Here are links to a video from a drone that give an indication of the volume I am dealing with on a nightly basis.

I'm about the same here with not near the room you have for parking. That will take more than one person controlling traffic though. Luckily I can manage mine from one intersection pretty much. On a positive note you only have one night until things slow down
i am lucky. i live on a culdesac. last night we had 14 cars parked and two waiting for a spot.
2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.
