Default 2020 Public Light Show Displays in Downtown Denver

Denver, Colorado has three major public light show displays in the downtown area. The first (which I also mentioned in the Mega Trees section) is the Mile High Tree on the 16th Street Mall at Welton Street.

The second is the long-time display at the City and County Building (Denver City Hall) which has been going on for many decades. When I first started playing the cast bronze bells in the tower for the holidays it was hundreds of incandescent lights, contactors and timers running the show. Now it is LED floodlights and computer programming. The show usually goes dark after New Year and then lights up again for the duration of the National Western Stock Show in January when tens of thousands of visitors come to Denver for that event. But the Stock Show is cancelled for this year.

Then we have the Merry and Bright Lights at Denver Union Train Station.

There are many other public displays outside of the downtown area, including at the Zoo, Botanic Gardens and WaterWorld.
