    Default Can you tap DMX off a LOR output?

    If you control your LOR boards via DMX, and then you have another (real) DMX fixture past the end of your LOR controllers - can you just tap that signal off the last LOR board?

    Or does the first LOR board translate its input DMX into the proprietary LOR protocol and every LOR board from that point onwards just talk LOR-protocol?
    2019: 26000 pixels, 20 E682's. Centralized 24v power distribution.
    2018: 2000 pixels, 2 E682's. 4 LOR
    2017: 33069 pixels, 20 E682's. 50 A/C with 2 LOR
    ...
    2011: 64 A/C channels with 5 LOR

    They will all respond to DMX.

    I know, but that’s not my question. My question is if they will continue to output DMX.

    MOST DMX devices do not regenerate the signal. They simply pass it on to the next device in the chain.
    So, your question of "... will continue to output DMX" is a YES in most cases.
