Looks like your virus or malware software interrupted the install. You need to pause that and reinstall it. We have seen a couple folks with that same issue and they resolved it by ensuring the AV did not interfere with the install.

Jeff, thanks a lot. I'll do that. I did reinstall 3.6 and it worked.

I am currently unable to start 3.7. It locks up loading the system config. It was loading, but when I tried to setup display it crashes, and now it won't load.
I have another computer that it runs normal on.
Are the routines backward compatible to 3.6?

Have you tried reinstalling it in these cases? The loader errors around opening the setup or the preview are because it cannot find the modules to load. This points to a corrupted install. We have seen a couple of people with these same errors and reinstalling it without the AV interfering resolved it.

If you have not migrated any of your sequences, then it is backward compatible with 3.6, but you will be missing out on many bug fixes and enhancements.

I went and reinstalled 3.6 and it worked. I'll try to upgrade later, I need to get started. Thanks for the AV insight, I'll definitely turn it off when I upgrade.
