I used to use a Pi but had flickering issues. There are only 3 outputs for the matrix using a Pi. I switched to a BBB and this adaptor and never looked back. Other folks use a colorlight for their panels. This adaptor has 8 outputs for the BBB.

It says kit. It also says out of stock.

You can also get one from Dan Kulp that provides a couple extra features if you are willing to spend a few extra $$$ -- https://kulplights.com/product/octoplus/ On that web page is a link to Wired Watts, another vendor that sells the device.

Hi. I had already a raspberry pie matrix adapter, using vixen lights, but I just can get it working. Does any of you know how to set it up using vixen.
    Thanks

Does your adapter work from the rPi?

You usually just export the matrix data (or the whole sequence) to a fseq and then load that on the rPi. From there, the setup is on the rPi.

    Thanks.
I noticed you don't have "enable LED panel output" checked. You also only have 1 panel in your setup. You need to complete FPP setup with the correct number of panels, 1/2 scan and panel configuration.
