    Default Mega 2560 w/ built in esp8266

    Has anyone used or tried one of these yet ? Just seen them didnít know they had WiFi built in. And cheaper than the original at 12.99

    Check out this thread, http://doityourselfchristmas.com/for...953#post515953. My tests of the board with external antenna indicated that the reception was no better than an ESP-01 with antenna built into the board. Since I have a MEGA shield already designed and in use to use the ESP-01, I won't be switching over.

    Makes sense was wondering how well it worked said with antenna was like 240 feet I think and 90 without .
