Default SanDevices E6804 Test pattern not working

Bought my first pixel controller, 50 5v WS2801 pixel lights and a 5v power supply.

Hooked up the power supply to the + and - of the controller

Took the 3 pixel wires and wired them into the Gnd, Dta and V+ slots on output 1

Plugged everything in and went to the ip and tried to test the lights with a test pattern but only two lights came on. When I changed it to test pattern 9 then 7 lights came on but other then that test pattern doesn't effect the lights at all.

left everything default in sansdevice dashboard only changed the test pattern number.

Make sure you have the right type pixels selected ie: 2811 and then double check your voltage voltage

In the configuration setup it shouldn't be 50 but 150. Each pixel requires 3 channels. On the controller you should have 150 outputs. Make sure whatever prop you're setting up that you assign the dimming curve which will give you 3 channels for each pixel.

You will notice on the webpage of the controller that you assign the output for 50 pixels and it will show a start universe of 1 and start channel 1. Then it shows end universe 1 and end channel 150.
