    Default Face Shields

There are several face mask initiatives currently floating around, here is one that a lot of makers are taking it upon themselves to create for hospitals/nursing homes etc

They also supply a cutout for the visor portion in North American and European standards.
I am trying to contact my local hospital to see if they would be interested.
The visor looks like it can be created with sheets of transparent film you can get from any office supply store. I haven't confirmed that as of yet but looks like a perfect fit (standard 8.5 X 11).

I am going to start printing some of the Prusa USA model tonight after I get the old filament out of the extruder. It broke off at the gears last night when I tried to change to petg.

    Phil,
please keep us up to date on this.

I've been to two specialists in the last week and no one had face shields.
It's easy to forget that many of us also need to see doctors Outside the hospital.
They seem to be low on the totem pole right now.

Thanks for the link. I am going to ask around as well but I think I will print a bunch anyway in case they need them all of a sudden.

Started one last night at some point my thermistor went bad and my hot end was 20 C warmer than actual. I spent 2 hours getting the print of the sheet.
