I vote for 2. Seems like a reasonable requirement for a user.

I also vote for 2. No need to over-complicate it! I think the majority of folks build their props for this format. You might be putting too much effort into a rare scenario that could be better handled by software.

Thanks for all the hard work on this!

Unlike others, I believe that the Zig-Zag belongs at the controller. Simply say that it zig-zags every x-number of pixels. Don't bother with "if there are 20 pixels left". Anyone building a matrix, that I know of, will start the string at a boundary - cutting off the extra 20 and adding them to another string.

Simplicity is always the best way!

I like option 2, I currently use the zig zag in the controller.

I vote for 2. why, because that is how i have mine setup now. I do see the advantage of doing it in the software also, so i am willing to adjust if it benefits the group.

First, thanks for a rock solid controller and the last update was great.

    I vote for Option #2.

I usually do zig-zag in the controller. I try to keep as much implementation pollution out of the sequencing as possible. With that said, I have a few controllers that do not support zig-zag so it is good to have the option in the sequencing software.

2020 Full sized show reworked for the new location. Only adding (famous last words) 13 RBLs that I finally got converted to using pixels
2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.

John, I vote for number 1. The software does handle the zig-zag with no issues. I use 5 of your controllers and they have been rock solid.

OK, seems to be a consensus there.

Honestly I don't think TLS3001 support is going to be possible because of the memory limit.
