Default Strange issue with Vixen math

I created a folder. Inside that folder is 55 folders with 18 elements. That should be a total of 990 elements. But when I click on the top folder it says 989 elements. Figuring I must have missed one, I clicked on each folder and indeed each folder has 18 elements in them. These are actually elements from a pixel tree that I copied and pasted to create an effect. When I click on the original tree folder it says 990 pixels. This issue is with both my trees. The other tree has 53 folders with 18 elements in each. That should total 954 elements and the original folder does show 954 elements but the folders I created only show 953. So what's with Vixens math or am I missing something?

I found the issue. In one of the folders I had mistakenly pasted a file from another folder. Apparently Vixen didn't like seeing a file that didn't appear that it should be there. It was the last letter in the file name. All 17 files had a last number of 3 and the file that shouldn't have been there had the number 2. I found it by selecting each folder one at a time while holding down the shift key. When the total number of files didn't match in a sequence of 18 I found which folder it was. The folder showed 18 files but when selected in a group it apparently wouldn't recognize the file that shouldn't have been there. I'm thinking Vixen saw that the wrong file was already being used in that group.

It sounds like you did a copy at some point.

Yup. It was a file already being used in another folder in that group.

FYI: Those are NOT folders. Everything in vixen is an element and you can apply effects to any elements at any level in a tree. They happen to be shown as hierarchical elements that resemble folders (done for us humans). A copy of any element can be used as a child element in another element. So you have parent and child relationships for elements and (hopefully) your element tree eventually ends in a series of leaf elements that get patched to controllers.
