    Hey Shelby,

Can you tell us where your source the Wemos modules? I know the ESP-01s had issues with some manufacturers. I would like to get the same modules you use to be safe.

And do you notice any better receive signal strength with the Wemos vs the ESP-01s?

One of the nice things about the Webmos D1 is that you can get them with external antennas.

Otherwise I'd be very surprised to hear its PCB antenna is any better at reception than the ESP-01's PCB antenna.

The big question is: Do we have to worry about what memory chip is used with these boards !

Any chance you will post the schematic so we can take a closer look?
It'll be included in the user's manual once I get it wrapped up.

I have my board house source them for me, they did the ESP-01 modules for me as well. I'm not aware of any variance issues with the Wemos modules like were experienced with the ESP-01's. My boards include the Wemos modules but you should be safe to source your own without issue if you'd like. I haven't noticed anything significant in terms or RX strength between the two modules.

They were delivered to Amazon last Wednesday, not sure what's taking them so long. Would like to do fulfillment myself but just don't have time for it.

Below is copy and pasted from the other site. I had to jack up the FBM price to keep control of the listing. Will be $25 when they show up via Prime.

Here's the story behind the Amazon pricing. Long story short, don't ever let your product sell out, especially if it has good reviews...

As you know, I've been out of stock on the V2 ESPixelSticks for a while now. I really wanted to make some improvements on the product and went through a few revisions before landing on what is now V3.0. Well, in that time lapse, some unscrupulous Amazon merchants took over my listing. Since I didn't have stock and they did (so they claimed), they were able to change the entire listing. Well, they replaced it with kitchen utensils and boy was it hell to get fixed. It took weeks of fighting with Amazon customer support to get the kitchen utensils removed from my listing and the original pictures and descriptions restored. Come to find out, this is a pretty common occurrence on Amazon. These unscrupulous crap bag merchants find listings with good reviews that are out of stock and take them over so they can sell their crap products under 5 star reviews. In order to combat this, I now have product listed under FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) as well. This is the $50 price you see with a 3-4 week lead time. It's there solely to protect the listing and keep it from getting taken over while I'm replenishing stock. My FBA (Fullfilled by Amazon) or "Prime" price is $25. Reason for the increase is that my product cost has went up significantly (mostly tariff related I believe). They shipped out this morning to Amazon and once checked in, they'll show available via Prime (FBA) for $25. I have a feeling these will sell out very quickly, but I have more coming (4-6 weeks out).

Edit: Make that 4-6 weeks, forgot about the Chinese New Year holiday.

Well, crap. Another thing I have to buy. I still have a dozen of the originals laying around the house, but this new package is so slick I just gotta have a couple.

Thanks for all your hard work and updates. I have about 8 of the 2.0s and a dozen of the pops&tinys. I'd love to get back to the espixelstick because I'm taking over my neighborhoods yard this year with mine. Less wires is better for me!
